Belly Dance for Hen's Party
Can
we organise a class for other events besides a hen's party?
Most definitely. We have run
the same styled party for Girls-Night-In charity events, birthday parties,
and groups of friends who simply want to try something fun and different.
Are there any limits on group size? No.
We have run parties from 5 to over 40 women. If you have a large group,
it is important to ensure you have enough space for everyone to move
around freely.
How long does the class run for?
Up to an hour.
When
should I have the Belly Dance Class? This is entirely
up to you and depends on what other activities you have organised for
your group. Generally the middle or towards the end of the party is
best, to ensure everyone has arrived and had a chance to chat, eat and
unwind.
Im having my party at home, what do I
need to organise? All you need to do is clear a room
of furniture so there is space for your group to dance. If possible,
position a CD player in the room or have one that is accessible by remote
control. If you do not have access to a CD player, please advise when
booking so we can bring one.
Im having my party at a venue, what do
I need to organise? Ensure the venue owner/ venue contact
is aware that you want to run this activity. Check that there is access
to a DJ or CD player. Ensure there will be enough clear space for your
group to be able to move freely. If you have a very large group, you
may want to consider organising a microphone for the instructor, so
everyone can clearly hear the instructions.
Can anyone join in or do you need some
dance experience? Absolutely anyone can join in, from
all age groups, with or without previous dance experience. But all participants
should advise the instructor of any physical injuries or restrictions
they may have before the class and ensure they do not participate in
any activity that feels uncomfortable for them.
